Hope, worry, frustration, sadness and envy can all show up, sometimes in the same day. These feelings are common and they make sense.

Small things that may help

Some people find it helps to set limits on searching online, to give worry a set time in the day, or to keep some evenings free from talk about trying.

Talking with a partner, a friend or others on the same path can make things feel lighter.

Support is part of care

European guidelines see emotional support as part of good fertility care. If feelings become heavy for a long time, a psychologist or counsellor can help. If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, call 112. In Slovenia you can also call Samarijan on 116 123, day and night, or Klic v duševni stiski on 01 520 99 00 in the evening and at night.
